RELAX, UNWIND & SWITCH TO A SLOWER PACE
We offer a 2 blissful Yoga retreats throughout the spring & autumn based in the stunning region of the Dordogne. Also known as the Perigord region, it is the perfect setting for a retreat escape. The whole area is bursting with natural beauty, the relaxed french "joie de vivre", it's rich in history, culture, vineyards, chateaus, medieval market towns and the meandering Dordogne river is the perfect backdrop.
Here's a sample of the daily schedule:
AM: Energising Vinyasa Yoga
(Suitable for all levels & Beginners) overlooking the wild flower meadow.
The focus of the morning session is to energise, cleanse, detoxify and help restore overall balance. Every person will be guided and encouraged to practise at their own pace with appropriate options given throughout.
Breakfast (Yoga is best practised on an empty stomach)
PM: Spend the afternoon as you please; by the pool, reading a book or walking in the surrounding countryside.
There will be optional trips to the local market Eymet on market day & a chance to visit the buddhist retreat Plum Village during your stay.
Early Evening: Restorative & Relaxing Yin Yoga class + Relaxation/Meditation
Under the sound of the birdsong Lizzie will guide you through calming seated postures, relaxations, meditations and pranayama (breathing exercises), all to help lower stress levels, anxiety and bring a sense of stillness, perspective, balance and harmony.
Alfresco Dinner and then the evening spent as you wish. Reading a book by sunset or enjoying a glass of wine in a hammock, the beautiful choice is yours.
